Frauenpower II

Die Uni Göttingen sucht einen post-doc. Genauer:

         The university of Goettingen invites applications 
         for 2 year postdoc positions, starting Fall 2019.

         This position is open to female candidates only.

Anscheinend hat sich die Tatsache, dass in Deutschland weibliche Kandidaten bei Berufungen seit knapp 20 Jahren generell bevorzugt worden, noch nicht nach England herumgesprochen, denn an einer dortigen Uni wundert man sich:
         
           Could I please inquire as to why the position is only 
           open to female candidates?
           Is gender really a contributory factor to the candidate's 
           ability to fill this role?
           This just appears to be a blatant form of discrimination 
           based on gender and is also degrading and insulting 
           towards women.

Dem kann ich nur noch hinzufügen, dass ich den Brexit aus mehr als einem Grund bedauere.
